Early Life :-
As a child, he played both Australian rules football and cricket. He played for SANFL Glenlog in the South Australian National Football League at the highest level. At 15, he was a reluctant player on the team. The rookie signed the contract on behalf of the South Australian Cricket Association and moved to Sydney in 2010. There he joined the new expanded AFL club of the Australian Football League, the Sydney Giants, and served as captain. However, he left the team in 2012 after joining the Australian Football League. He then returned to his home state of South Australia. There he started playing home cricket.
International Cricket :-
On January 13, 2018, the Adelaide Strikers began beating. He played his first KFC Big Bash League game against the Perth Scorches in Alice Springs. He then made his debut as a hitter at the Adelaide Oval in his hometown, marking his first-century Big Bash against the Hobart Hurricanes. Soon after, Gabba was
invited to play for the Australian ODI team. Later that month he was selected as a member of the Twenty20 International Team to compete in the Trans-Tasman Tri-Country Series. Alex Kerry made his T20I debut against New Zealand in 2016. He also signed a contract with Zhai Richardson for the 2018/19 season with Cricket Australia in April 2016. At one point he was co-captain of the Australian T20 team.
He was selected as one of 15 Australian squads for the World Cricket Championship in England.
