Bipasha Basu was born in New Delhi. Although she was born in New Delhi, she later returned to Calcutta with her parents. In an exclusive interview, Bipasha said that although she planned to study medicine, she entered the world of modeling and acting very suddenly. Bipasha studied science up to class XII at Bhavan’s Gangabax Kanoria Vidyamandir. He later studied Commerce at Bhabanipur Gujarati Education Society College, affiliated to Calcutta University. While in Calcutta, she took part in modeling and ramp shows as a temporary job. In 1996, he met the famous model Meher Jessia in Kolkata. Jessie advises Bipasha to take part in the Godrej Cynthal Supermodel competition. Bipasha Basu won the competition with her part. Bipasha made her film debut in the 2001 film Ajnabee directed by Abbas Mustan. Famous stars like Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deul and Kareena Kapoor were in the film. In the film, she plays a married woman who falls in love with her husband’s married friend. After starring in Ajnabee, she is participating in Bollywood Hindi films as an Indian actress.
Basu started a relationship with actor Dino Morea from 1996-2002 the relationship did not last long, he had a very high-level relationship with John Abraham from 2002-2011. In 2002, Basu starred in the most successful thriller of the year, Raaz. Her portrayal of a ghostly woman has received positive reviews. A reviewer in The Tribune pointed out that it is Bipasha Basu who steals the show with her excellent acting. She was nominated for a Filmfare Award for Best Actress for Raaz. She starred in a supporting role in Sanjay Gadhvis Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai, which had moderate critical and commercial success.
