Shaheen Afridi is a professional Pakistani international cricketer born in Landi Kotal area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He is one of the members of Pakistan cricket team. After making his debut in international cricket in April 2016, he made his Test debut in December of the same year. Khan is representing the Research Laboratories team in domestic first-class Pakistani cricket. In the team, he plays mainly as a left-arm fast bowler. International Cricket :-

Along with Asif Ali and Talat, he was named in Pakistan’s Twenty20 international squad to play against the visiting West Indies in March 2016. He made his debut against the West Indies in the third T20I of the series on April 3, 2016 in Karachi. He was included as a member of Pakistan’s ODI team around the Asia Cup in September 2016. He succeeded Mohammad Amir. Shaheen Afridi made his ODI debut against Afghanistan in the second match on September 21, 2018 in Abu Dhabi.

He was also included in the Pakistan Test squad along with Saad Ali for the Test series against New Zealand in the UAE in November 2016. He then made his Test debut on December 3, 2016 against New Zealand. He is the 35th player in the history of Pakistan cricket to play Test cricket under the age of 19. In April 2019, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) released the list of 15-member Pakistan squad for the Cricket World Cup to be held in England. In a match against India in the 2021 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, he scored 31 runs in 4 overs and took 3 wickets.

 

Domestic Cricket :-

Pakistan was selected to participate in the Under-16 Asia Cup held in Sri Lanka in December 2016. Pakistan got 3/26 against Singapore in the first match. His team won the game by nine wickets. In September 2016, he played for Dhaka Dynamites, a specially authorized team in the Bangladesh Premier League, on a two-year contract. He then made his debut in first-class cricket for Khan Research Laboratories at the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy in Rawalpindi on September 26, 2016. Get 8/39 in the second innings of the game. Shaheen Afridi was named a member of the Pakistan team led by Hasan Khan to play in the Under-19 Cricket World Cup in December 2016. In August 2016, he was selected by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) as one of the 33 contracted players at the central level for the 2018-19 season.
