Sapna Atri Chowdhary was born in Delhi Mahipalpur. Her father lived in Sayrol, a small village in the Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh. A few days before Sapna was born, her family had moved to Mahipalpur with her older brother. Sapna’s father Bhupendra Atri died of a long illness in 2008 at the age of only 18. After the death of his father, he devoted himself to “dancing” and “singing” in his free time in order to meet his family obligations. On February 17, 2016, Sapna Choudhary sang another song in a program in Gurgaon, in which, according to the indictment, caste words were spoken for Dalits. In addition, the FIR reported to the police station in Sector 29 in Gurgaon against Sapna Chaudhary. Law in which the police filed a complaint against Sapna under the SC-ST Act as well as Article 34 of the Indian Criminal Code. A SIT team was also set up to investigate the case.
