Isudan Gadhvi is an Indian politician and senior leader of the Aam Aadmi Party in Gujarat. Currently, Gadhvi is the state president of the Aam Aadmi Party in Gujarat and its national executive member. Previously working as a media professional, he is known as a television journalist and editor of VTV News and host of the popular news program Mahamanthan on VTV Gujarat. Since entering active politics, Issudan has become the popular face of the AAP in Gujarat and was the party’s chief ministerial candidate in the 2022 Gujarat assembly elections.

Early Life and Family :-
Isudan was born on January 10, 1982, in Piplia village near Jamkhamblia town in Devbhoomi Dwarka district of Gujarat. His father, Kherzbhai Gadhavi, was a farmer by profession. The family worships goddesses and kuldevis including Kamai Mataji, Nagbai Mataji, and Ambaji. At his grandmother’s request, Isudan recited two chapters from the Ramayana and the Mahabharata to her every day, which helped him memorize the two epics. The biggest influence on him was his father, who insisted on Isudan’s education. Early in his career, his father even accompanied him when he reported investigative stories. Kherzbhai suffered from kidney disease and died on April 15, 2014.

Isudan Gadhvi Career :-
Early in his journalism career, Gadhavi worked on a popular Doordarshan called ‘Yojana’. From 2007 to 2011, Isudan worked for ETV Gujarati as a field reporter in Porbandar. Later, in his news program, he exposed the Rs 150 million illegal logging scam in the Dang and Kaprada taluks of Gujarat, following which the Gujarat government was forced to take action. The incident made Gadhavi famous and earned her the badge of a fearless journalist. He has worked at various places in Gujarat including Vapi, Porbandar, Jamnagar, Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar.
