Irrfan was born on January 7, 1967, in Jaipur, India to an aristocratic Muslim family. Irrfan’s mother Begum Khan and his late father Jagirdar Khan were residents of Tonk district and traded in turbans there. Irfan and one of his friends Satish Sharma played good cricket and Irfan was later selected for the under-23 team in the CK Nayudu tournament, which is well known as the foundation of first-class cricket in India. But he could not play in this tournament due to a lack of necessary funding. He received a scholarship to study at the State Drama School (NSD) in New Delhi in 1984 while pursuing his post-graduate studies.
He did a diploma in drama theory from NSD. He is known in the Indian film world for his unparalleled and unimaginable acting ability. He is known in the world of Indian cinema for his incomparable and unimaginable acting talent. He works in Bollywood, British Indian, Hollywood, and a Telugu film. During his 35-year career, he starred in over 50 national films and won numerous awards including the National Film Award for Best Actor and four Filmfare Awards. In 2011 the Indian government awarded him the Padma Shri, India’s fourth-highest civilian award. He made his Bollywood debut in the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.

In 2009 he appeared in the film Acid Factory. In 2010, he worked on the third season of the HBO series In Treatment, in which he played the role of Sunil, who, after moving to the Brooklyn neighborhood of New York, struggles to cope with the death and loneliness of his wife.
She played the adult version of Pool “Pi” Molitor Patel in Ang Lee’s film version of Life of Pi, which was critically and commercially successful worldwide. In 2014, Khan performed with Gunday, which was a modest box office hit. He also appeared in The Xpose and Haider films and played a major role in the latter. Illness and death :-
Irrfan Khan was suffering from severe neuroendocrine cancer for a long time. He returned to India in February 2019 after a year of treatment in London. He was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai on April 28, 2020, for complications of the colon. He died on April 29 at the age of 53 while undergoing treatment.
